Lars Ericson was born on 25 February 1845 in Tierp
parish in Sweden and emigrated to Denison in 1881. He married
Nellie Olson born 7 March 1853 of Hörja parish in Sweden
in 1882. He worked for Peter Weberg in Stockholm township for
a few years and then began a long career of working the tracks
of the Chicago and North Western Railroad. They had five children
the youngest marrying Mattie Beaumont, sister of Pearl. Grandsons
Wesley and Lawrence in the picture above are first cousins of
Velma and Warren Larson |
