| John Winquist was born 4 October 1847 in Veinge parish in Sweden. He emigrated in 1870. Petronella Troedsdotter was born in Stoby parish in Sweden. She emigrated in 1882. They married in 1884 and raised their family -- Alvin, Pearl, Vernie, and Jubel -- on the farm in Stockholm township section 18. John died in 1922 and Petronella in 1933. They are buried in the Kiron Cemetery. |
