Carl and Amanda Gustafson provided a place for many
of the family and friends who emigrated from Halland län
Sweden to gather together "and talk in Swedish to each other".
Here Amanda, dotter Florence, and son Vernal are pictured here
with Swedish friends. Gustav Carlsson with the hat in the front
row gives a date reference to the picture. He came in 1927 and
returned in 1933 to Valinge near Varberg Sweden. He was a cousin
of the children of Johan Edward and Johan Severin Gustafson of
Kiron. |
