Enard Gustafson (1878-1955) and Elizabeth Olson (1879-1957)
were born on neighboring farms in Rolfstorp parish in Sweden.
They farmed around Kiron. They raised eight children: Robert,
Elva, Emer, Pearl, Everett, Dorothy, Roland, and Lorraine. Many
of them stayed in the local area. Emer lived his last days in
the Odebolt Care Center where his engaging presence was felt
right to the end. Fluent in Swedish, he delighted his Swedish
visitors with his ability to converse. |
