| John and Maria were both born in Schleswig Germany. They emigrated to Iowa and farmed in Stockholm Township, Crawford County, Iowa. They were parents of seven children: Chris, Anna, Elise, Ella, Fred, Paulina, and Carl. They are buried in the St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery. |
