Early Men of Kiron - abt 1905

 This picture is taken on the steps of the new opera house on the north side of  Prairie Street in the new town of Kiron, Iowa.  The picture is dated by the estimated age of the youngest lad in the picture - Martin Johnson(born 1888).  It was probably taken around 1905.  This building was home to many community events including the Chautauqua performances in the early 20's.  The gentlemen pictured here are left to right:
