Emma is the older sister to Anders
and was born 23 September 1841 in Grönstorp in Gärdserum
parish in Kalmar län Sverige. She married Jonas Petersson
of Åtvid parish in 1863. They had one child, Anna Sofia,
before Jonas died. Emma then married Carl Göransson of Åtvid
in 1872. In 1880 the family emigrated from Åtvid to Wheeler
township in Sac county Iowa. The Dolks farmed in Wheeler township.
Emma died on 15 December 1917 and was buried in the Kiron Cemetery.
