Fern is the daughter of Carl
Emil Johnson and Amy K. Loomer. She was born on 21 February 1905
in Kiron. She attended the Kiron school and graduated from Kiron
High School in 1924. She worked for a time as a telephone operator.
She married Farrell F. Nordell in 1926 and they moved to Omaha.
They had 4 children: Louis, Loretta, Ronald, and Marilyn. Fern
died on 19 Jan 1996 in Omaha.
