Nils Emil Larsson was born on
17 Dec 1993 on the Gylleby farm in Sunne parish in Värmland
län. His parents were Lars Jonasson and Maria Jansdotter.
After his father died in 1868, the mother and her three children
emigrated to Kiron where her brother John Hoaglund lived. In 1888
Nels Larson married Mathilda Swanson who had emigrated from Strövelstorp
parish in Sverige. Their children were Haxel, Mae, Ruth, Julia,
Abbie, Raymond, and Esther. He farmed his entire life. In 1908
he served on the Baptist building committee. He died on 9 March
1957 at 91 years. He is buried in the Kiron Cemetery.
