Carl Johan Danielsson was born 12
March 1864 in the parish of Marum in Skaraborg län Sweden.
He was living on the Herreslätt farm when he emigrated in
1887 from the parish of Västra Gerum also in Skaraborg län.
He married Amanda Christina Carlson on 8 February 1889. They
farmed in Hayes and Wheeler townships in Ida and Sac counties.
He was the father of Oscar, Edwin, Anna, Selma, Emil and Frieda.
He was known by the name of Charles in America. He died on 13
May 1936 and is buried in the Bethel Cemetery near Kiron, Iowa.
Mrs. Danielson and daughter Frieda preceded him in death. |
