| He was born in Borås, Västergötland, Sweden. He emigrated at age 17 to DeKalb, Illinois. In 1877 he came to Kiron and farmed in Ida and Sac county until 1913. Then he retired in Kiron and lived there until 1921 when they moved to the warmer climate of Los Angeles, California. He died in Los Angeles in 1934 and was buried in the cemetery at Kiron, Iowa. |
