Nels is the son of Swan Sandstrom and Maria Oleson and was born on the family farm in Stockholm Township. Mabel is the daughter of Peter Gustaf Lundell and Amanda Berg. They were married in 1903. Nels was a Kiron businessman and operated a Texaco service station for a time. They had six children: Wesley, Alice, Marvin, Doris, Maydelle, and Virginia. |
