A committal service for Steven Lynn Barker, day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Barker of Arthur, was held at the Hayes Township cemetery last Thursday afternoon. The service was in charge of Rev. Alrik A. Blomquist of the Arthur Baptist Church. Dennis Lindberg sang, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."

Steven Lynn Barker was born 1 June 1948 and passed away 2 June 1948. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother, Dean, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Thompson and Albert Barker, all of Arthur.
