Olof A. Bergman was born in Folinge, Sweden, June 2^nd, 1833. On the 24^th of March 1859 he was married to Bertha Andersdotter. In 1882 Mr. Bergman and family moved to America.

Mr. Bergman was the father of five children, three boys and two girls. One of the children died some time ago, but the others and the mother are still living. Three of the children are married; Nels J. is single and lives at home.

Mr. Bergman took down with pneumonia on Sunday morning, Feb. 11^th and died on Wednesday Feb. 21^st. The funeral was held Sunday Feb. 25^th and interment made in the Swedish cemetery south of Arthur.
