Mrs. C. J. Hoaglund Died Suddenly of Heart Trouble
Mrs. C. J. Hoaglund died very suddenly at their home near Arthur last Wednesday night about 8 o'clock. She went upstairs to get ready to go to Ida Grove with some of her children and was stricken and died almost instantly with heart trouble.
Sarah Ida Cain was born in Illinois in 1871 coming to Blaine township Ida County in 1876 and has lived in that vicinity ever since excepting for a few years they lived in Kiron. She was married to C. J. Hoaglund in 1889 and nine children were born to this union all of which with the aged husband are left to mourn. Mr. and Mrs. Hoaglund at one time lived here and ran a general store where the drug store now is and lived in the house now owned by John Palm.
The funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Arthur Monday afternoon and burial was made at Ida Grove. Several from here attended the funeral.
