Mrs. Ida Anderson was born at Kiron, September 25, 1872 and passed away on to be with her Creator on November 18, 1942 at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 24 days.

In the year of 1901 she was united in marriage to Mr. Edward Anderson. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Florence Anderson of Pocahontas, Walter of Kiron, and John, deceased. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was considered by her neighbors and friends as considerate and kind and by her children as patient and loving. Her home was her first love. Her entire life was spent in this locality.

She leaves to mourn her departure her daughter, Florence , and son Walter, and one grandson, Curtis Anderson, three brothers, Alfred, William and Edward Clauson, all of Kiron, also a host of relatives and friends in and around Kiron.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, 1:30 from the home and 2 o'clock from the Baptist church. Rev. Bruce Fleming officiating. Special singing was rendered by Mrs. Elmer Wilson and Mrs. J. F. Hedstrom with Lillian Engberg at the piano. The beautiful floral tributes bespoke her high esteem.

Pallbearers were Adolph Salmonson, Ernest Anderson, Vernie and Jubel Winquist, Oscar Johnson and Elmer Mauritz. Interment was made in the Kiron Cemetery.

Relatives and friends attending from a distance were : Mrs. Cora Cauch and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lindgren of Lawton, Mrs. Esther Dillemuth and Eva, Miss Esther Anderson, Albert Anderson, Mrs. Albin Johnson, Ellen and Ingward Johnson of Pocahontas, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Johnson of Mapleton, Mr. and Mrs. William Hansohn of Holstein, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansohn of Ida Grove, Mrs. M. O'Banion of Ft. Dodge, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Clauson of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson of Pocahontas, and Mrs. Ernest Carlson of Pomeroy.
