Obituary of Harry Eng
Harry Alfred Eng was born 3 Sept 1904 in Blaine township. He lived around Arthur all his life except for about three years when he was in Oakland, Calif. during the war. He was employed in the navy ship yard as a painter.
He continued his occupation after returning home until a year ago when he has taken care of his mother very faithfully.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Mrs. Beda Eng: three brothers, Carl of Des Moines, Clarence of Ida Grove, Elmer of Arthur and one sister, Hazel (Mrs. Earl Belstene) of Arthur. Also fourteen neices and nephews and eleven grand neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister who died in infancy and by his father Alfred passed away in 1947.
Funeral services were held in the Evangelical Free Church in Arthur on Sunday afternoon October 2. Pastor Vxxx yyyyson officiated.
