Conrad E. Johnson - (1877 - 1951)

Funeral services for Conrad E. Johnson, 74, 4000 Madison street, who died at a hospital Thursday will be at 2 p.m. today at the Presbyterian church at Bronson. Pallbearers will be Conrad C. Johnson, John Dallen, Jr., Delwyn Coburn and Dick Coburn, all grandsons, and Harold and Ernest Johnson, nephews.  Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery under direction of the Nelson-Berger funeral home.

Conrad E. Johnson, 74, 4000 Madison street, died at a hospital Thursday after an illness of three months.  Mr. Johnson was born 11 April 1877, at Kiron, Iowa. At the age of 16, he went to Lawton, Iowa, where he farmed until 1939, when he moved to Sioux City. He was a member of the Rock Branch Methodist church.

Surviving are the widow, Maybelle; three son, Ralph of Sioux City, Harry of Bronson and Clarence of Richland, Washington; two daughters, Mrs. May Coburn of Sioux City and Mrs. Pearl Dahlen of Pierson, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; a stepson, Archie Waldo of Correctionville, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Theodore Salder of Correctionville.  The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger funeral home.
