EMIL LEROY LARSON - (1879 - 1928)
Emil Leroy Larson was born October 27, 1879 near Kiron, Iowa and passed away October 9, 1928 in Mobile, Alabama. (His mother was living on the farm at the Johnsonville corner and his father was the hired hand doing the farming.)
He lived with his parents near Kiron (Otter Creek Sect 13 - Delmar Mauritz) until he was a young man and then moved to Nebraska. Later he moved to Shenandoah where he made his home for several years. For the past eight years he has lived in Alabama. His death followed an operation. He leaves to mourn him, one son, Arte of Palacios, Texas, one daughter Fern of Carancaqua, Texas and one grand daughter Vivian Beryl of Palacioes, all of whom were with him during his last illness, the son remaining with him until the end came. He also leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Peter Larson of Bristow, Nebraska, five sisters and two brothers besides many other relatives and friends. Burial took place from his son's home in Palacios.
