Iver Lindgren, 58, died suddenly March 31, 1975 of an apparent heart attack while operating a tractor on his farm near Schaller. He was in the process of clearing debris after the recent ice storm.
Services were held on April 3 at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, rural Schaller, with the Rev. Walter Dolde officiating. Interment was in the Hayes township cemetery, rural Alta.(?)
He is survived by his wife Majorie, two daughters, Janice Altmanshofer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Marlys Lindgren of Minneapolis, a son, David of Schaller; two grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Charles McGee of Portland, Mrs. Milo Devlin of Washington, Mrs. LaVern Rydberg of Arthur and Mrs. Wayne Olson of Virginia; three brothers Paul of Arthur, Richard of California, and Dennis of Ida Grove.
