Harry Milton Lindstrom - (1895 - 1978)

KIRON...Harry Milton Lindstrom, 82, a life long Kiron resident, died Friday evening 30 June 1978 at the Colonial Manor in Odebolt. He had been a resident there since 21 April 1978.
Harry was born in Kiron 13 July 1895, the son of S.I. and nellir Nelson Lindstrom. He was self employed as an interior and exterior decorator and painter. Harry served for two years during World War I and was a member of the Kiron American Legion Post 383. He was also an active member of the First Baptist chruch in Kiron as long as health permitted.
15 December 1933 Harry was united in marriage, at Kiron, to Edith Larson and she survives his passing. Also surviving are two sons, Larry of Raymore, Mo. and Wellman of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Beverlee, Mrs. Merrill Soma of LeMar, Missouri; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Julia, Mrs. Newell Clauson, his twin brother, Bert, and three other brothers, Victor, ANthony and George.
Funeral services were held Monday 3 July 1978 at 2 p.m. at the Kiron Baptist church and Rev. Gary Clark officiated. The music "Ivory Palaces" and "An Evening Prayer" were sung by Bueal Hedstrom and Lewellyn Larson. Mrs. Ferne Wilson was organist.
Attendants were Conwell Lindstrom, Donald Lindstrom, John Wes Larson, Gordon Larson, Roger Larson, and Warren Larson. Burial was at the Kiron cemetery, Military Honors, American Legion Post 383, arrangements by Maxwell Funeral Home.
