Ida Edeliga Lundberg -- Passes
Away - (1886 - 1901)
After A Long Siege of Suffering, Miss Ida Edeliga Lundberg Passes
Last Tuesday morning the news spread over the community that Ida
Lundberg was dead. While the death was not unexpected, it was
a sad one. For four weeks and a half she had been a great sufferer
with rheumatism, St. Vitus Dance and many other aliments combined.
For a long time she was unable to talk and had apparently no knowledge
of what was going on around her, but suffered greatly all the
time. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Lundberg; fifteen
years old on March 15th last.(1901) Ida was an exceptionally good
child. She had a strong faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ, and
was often heard praying by herself upstairs in her room. She was
obedient and as good a child as any father and mother could wish
for. She was brave and fearless up to the last movement, always
thinking she would get better, but at 11:30 last Monday night
the end came. We deeply sympathize with the sorrowing relatives
of the deceased. It is a hard blow to the family.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at one o'clock
at the house. Interment will be made at the Kiron cemetery.
