Bayard Royal Lundell - (1907 - 1974) -- Dies In Bismark, North Dakota 


Bayard R. Lundell, 67, died in Bismark, North Dakota Thursday evening, November 28, 1974 at the Bismark hospital. He has been ill the past two years.
Funeral services were held in the First Lutheran Church in Rugby, North Dakota at 10:30 Monday morning, December 2 with the members of the American Legion serving as attendants. He was buried in the Rugby cemetery beside his daughter, Marjorie.
Bayard, the youngest of 12 children, was born May 28, 1907 at Pine Lane Farm near Kiron. He attended school in Wheeler No. 9 rural school and later graduated from the high school in Kiron, He attended Luthxx college in Wahoo, Nebraske and took a course in business at Mankato, Minnesota.
He was employed in the Kiron State bank and later in the First National Bank of Odebolt, He worked several years for the Grinnell Re-insurance Company of Grinnell. He entered the service of his country and worked in the Induction Center in Omaha for about six years. He xx two years in service overseas in the Signal Corps and was stationed in England and France.
He was married to Euls Keeney of Villisca October 27, 1945. They lived in Omaha two xx moving from there to Fort xx where he was employed in bookkeeping and clerical work xx he retired in 1971. He and xx wife moved to Bismark, North Dakota.
They had two daughters, Dorothy, Mrs. Richard Bisckoff xx Rugby, North Dakota and Marjorie who died in 1968.
Mr. Lundell was very musical and was a member of the mm Lutheran Church choir in xx Dodge for 20 years. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Bismark, North Dakota and a member of the American Legion.
Those who preceded him in death were his daughter, Marjorie, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Lundell; four sisters Mabel (Mrs. Nels Sandstrom), Anna, (Mrs Hugh Edney), Edith (Mrs. J. E. Baker); and one brother , Martin Lundell.

Survivors include his wife Eula; daughter, Dorothy Fox, son-in-law, Richard; two xx children, Brenda, and Broxx; three brothers, George and Harold Lundell of Kiron, and Edmund Lundell of Denison; three sisters, Elizabeth (Mrs. R. N. Larson) of Kiron, Mildred (Mrs. B. E. Leonard) of Odebolt, and Constance, (Mrs. Otto Turinsky) of Sandpoint, Idaho.
