Nils Miller was born 12 October 1867 in Sweden. When a young man he came to the United States, arriving here in 1890 and settling near Vail, Iowa.
In 1896 he was married to Miss Annie Clauson and to this union eleven children were born, all of whom are living with the exception of one who passed away in infancy.
In 1897 the Miller family moved to Kiron where they resided on a farm until 1912 when they moved to Sac City, making their home north of town.
On April, 1935, Mrs. Miller passed away, a distinct loss to the family and the home circle was broken.
Mr. Miller has been in failing health for the past ten years, and death came as a sweet release from pain and suffering.
He leaves to mourn his departure his ten children of various places, 21 grandchildren, 1 brother Alfred of Akron, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Tilda Bjork of Waltham, Minnesota.
He was a member of the Evangelical Mission church of Kiron for many years.
