Farrell Nordell Services In Denison

KIRON...Farrell F. Nordell, son of John Nordell and Anna (Johnston) Nordell was born on a farm south of Kiron September 3, 1903 and died May 9, 1973 at the Nebraska City Manor in Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 9 days.
He grew up in the Kiron Vicinity attending Public School in Otter Creek Township No. 6 and later graduated from Kiron High School with the class of 1921.
He was married January 29, 1926 and they had two sons. Llewellyn and Ronald and two daughters, Leritta and Marilyn, all of Omaha, Nebraska. Most of his married life was spent in Omaha where he worked with the railroad and also did carpenter work.
He is survived by his four children, all of Omaha and ten grandchildren. One brother, Orville Nordell of Ida Grove, two sisters, Mrs. Ima Sommer of California and Mrs. Harry Skarin of Kiron. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Orris and delbert Nordell.
Funeral services were held at the Maxwell Funeral Home in Denison May 11 with Rev. T. W. Danielson officiating. Rev. Danielson also served as soloist with Mrs. Richard Gustafson as organist.
Pallbearers were Eugene Larson, Quentin Norelius, Elmer and Jubel Mauritz, Leonard Johnson and Howard Larson. Interment was in the Kiron Cemetery.
