Funeral Services for Arthur Paulson Are Held at Kiron
BOYER--- Funeral services were held for Arthur N. Paulson at the Evangelical Free Church at Kiron Saturday, 10 March 1956 at 2 pm. The Reverend Wallace E. Larson conducted the services.
The music was provided by Mrs. Russell Gustafson and Mrs. Ernest Anderson accompanied by Mrs. Richard Gustafson on the piano.
Interment was in the Kiron Cemetery with Verle Paulson, Peter Wulf, Arnold Green, Robert Lingle, Everette Ellwanger, and Donald Paulson as pall bearers.
Arthur Nathan Paulson, son of Olof and Louise Paulson, was born 24 November 1888 at Sioux City, Iowa. He died at his home near Boyer, Iowa March 7, after a prolonged illness at the age of 67 years.
He lived in the Boyer community all of his life except for a short time which he lived in Sioux City and Denison.
He was a long time member of the Free Evangelical Mission Church of Kiron and attended services as long as his health permitted.
27 February 1917 at Deloit, Iowa he was united in marriage to Nellie Lena Wulf. To this union five children were born: Loyal of Boyer, Dorothy (Mrs. R. L. Sleight) of Odebolt, Wesley of Odebolt, Ardine (Mrs. R. C. Bettin) of Odebolt and a son Glenn who died in infancy. Also preceding him in death were his mother and father and six brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his widow and family, five grandchildren, three brothers - Carl of Boyer, Arvin of Kingsley, Alger of Boyer two sisters Delia (Mrs. J. W. Wonnell of Arthur) and Edith (Mrs. Howard Lingle) of Dension. Eighteen neices and nephews also survive as well as a host of friends and relatives.
A large memorial was given in his memory.
