Little Dorothy Schultz Passed Away Saturday xx May 1934

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schultz are mourning the loss of their daughter Dorothy Alvina Rosie who passed away at their home on Saturday afternoon at one o'clock following a severe illness of three weeks duration. She suffered intensely from a contagious disease and although every thing possible was done for her to restore her to health it was of no avail and the end came as a relief from the intense pains.

She was born 9 November 1926 and had reached the age of 7 years 7 months and 21 days. She was an obedient and loving daughter and sister. Her cheerful disposition and sunny smile will be greatly missed in the family and among her school mates.    She leaves to mourn her untimely death the grief stricken parents, five sisters and two brothers: Alice, Erma, Velma, Ruby, Verna, Irvin and Frederick and a large number of relatives and playmates.

Owing to the nature of the disease no public funeral was held. Brief services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, out of doors conducted by Rev. L. H. Loesch of St. Johns Lutheran church. Interment was made in the St. Johns cemetery. Little Dorothy was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She has left us to go to her heavenly home. Her memory will ever linger with us.

Memorial services will be held in the near future when members of the family will be out of quarantine.
