Lowell Sederberg

Lowell G. Sederberg, 87, of Port Orchard died 24 February 1999 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born 18 May 1911 in Kiron, Iowa to Oscar and Anna (Anderson) Sederberg. He graduated from Kiron High School in 1929. On 6 June 1947 he married Gertrude A. Barker in Arthur, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1997. Mr. Sederberg served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1972. He was a member of the Port Orchard Church of the Nazarene

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Simonson of Olympia; a brother, Roy of Port Orchard; and two grandchildren, Jason and Stefanie Simonson, both of Olympia. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Marvin.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Rill Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Port Orchard Nazarene Church with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
