Fred Warren Dies, Funeral Services Being Arranged, (23 Mar
1953), Kingsberg, Calif.
Fred Warren died unexpectedly Tuesday morning in the University
of California Hospital in San Francisco where he had gone for
treatment of an illness of long standing. He was 48 years of age.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Garner Chapel depending
upon when a son, Dennis, who is now stationed at Seoul with the
navy can return.
Mr. Warren was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and had lived in Kingsburg
for 35 years where he was active in community affairs. He was
employed by an oil company for 25 years and after his illness
built a grocery store on East Mariposa which he had operated for
the past year.
He was an active member of the Evangelical Free Church and a former
president of the high school board of trustees.
He is survived by his widow, Iola: three sons, Dennis, of the
navy, and Wayne and Robert, Kingsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence
Esau and Elaine Warren, both of Kingsburg; his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Everett Warren, of Kingsburg; two brothers, Frank and John,
both of Kingsburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Ringblom, of
Kingsburg and Mrs. Rose Willems, of Medford, Oregon.
