1. John William Isaac Gay, born Jan.
1871 in Alabama, died 25 Mar 1935. Not sure were he died, there are conflicting
stories on where he died. He is buried in The Old Quay Cemetery, which is
called Lawson Cemetery now, about 3 miles from Yale, Payne Co., Oklahoma. He
married Nettie B. Watterson 17 Nov 1891 in Cullman Co., Alabama.
Note: I have a census of a family which may be John's, (Father
& Mother) but I have no real proof at this time. Nettie B. Watterson, born Apr. 1870 in
Alabama, died 2 Nov 1918, in Payne Co., Oklahoma. She was the daughter of
Charles Ross Watterson and ? (Sis) Montgomery.

i. Johnathan Ross Gay, born Feb. 1893 in Alabama, died 1958 in
Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho; he married Leona Hoover.
ii. Anna W. Gay, born Oct 1895 in Alabama, died in Oklahoma; she
married Frank Mulleneux.
iii. Mary E. Gay, born Jan. 1897 in Alabama, died 1918 in
Oklahoma; she married Charlie Harrison.
iv. Paul Curtis Gay, born 12 Aug 1899 in Cullman Co., Alabama, ;
died 12 Apr 1967 in Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho; He marrid Nellie Mae
Bohrn.
v. Mabel Ruth Gay, born 7 Jul 1901 in Alabama, died 19 Sep 1947
in Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho; she married George Pettid.
vi. John Charles Gay, born 26 Jan 1904 in Stroud, Lincoln Co.,
Oklahoma, died 5 Oct 1969 in Enid, Garfield Co., Oklahoma; he married Dorthy
Elizabeth Payne.
vii. William Farris Gay, (Twin) born Mar. 1905 in Oklahoma, died
Apr 1961 in Cushing, Payne Co. Oklahoma; he married Gladys Helen ?.
viii. Private; she married Edd Hoover.
viiii. Goldie Lucille Gay, born 21 Mar 1910 in Oklahoma, died
Dec 1968 in Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho; she married Merril Finney.
