He studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, and served as an
infantry Captain in France from 15 May 1917 to 1 May 1919. In 1925 they
moved to Evanston, Cook Co, IL where he was affiliated with Underwriters
Adjusting Co at Chicago, Cook Co, IL until his retirement. He was a lifelong
photographer who had salon quality prints displayed throughout the United
States. In 1964 they moved to Mercer Island, King Co, WA, joining their
dauthter.
