Arthur L. Keith, "THE HARNED FAMILY", New York Genealogical & Biographical
Record, vol. LXI, p. 25 (January, 1930). He went down the Ohio River
and spent some time with his KY cousins. He removed to Orange Co, IN via
Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY in February 1814. While hunting in
Indiana Territory native wilderness he decided to move there. He and his
family entered a quarter section of land about 2 1/2 miles west of Valeene,
Orange, IN. Sold Loudoun Co, VA land 1 Dec 1813 Indenture available.
