11. Elizabeth Balch was born on 7 Mar 1737/38 in Deer Creek, Harford Co., Maryland. She died in Jul 1820 in Greenville Co., South Carolina.

She was married to James Ashmore (son of Walter Ashmore and Margaret ?) in 1757 in Mecklinburg Co., North Carolina. James Ashmore was born in 1735 in Mecklinburg Co., North Carolina. He died in 1785 in Mecklinburg Co., North Carolina. Elizabeth Balch and James Ashmore had the following children:
