Viewers may recognize this picture of the group on North Beach as the source of the enlarged picture of Grandma Johana Schlick in the "Old Folks" chapter.  I simply cropped her and the adjoining figures and enlarged them.  But this is a pretty good group picture in its own right.  See the main text for the identity of 10 of the 15 people pictured.
