Often the large trees in South Texas  river bottoms are pecan, but from the appearance of the bark I don't think these are.  It does seem to be a pleasant shady camp ground.  Harold Henry on the left wearing knickers and jacket seems over dressed for the early September still summer afternoon.  He is wearing most likely high socks, not boots.  Note the fishing poles can be seen leaning against the trees.
