Burnet Street House.  This Picture was taken about 1966 shortly before it was salvaged.

The Burnet Street property remained in the family until the mid 1980's.  In the late 1960's the City took the front half of the lot to extend 7th street.  This took the house which was sold  to a purchaser who salvaged the lumber for house he was building in the hill country north of San Antonio.    The remaining back half of the  lot was sold by my father about 1985.  It had been in the family for over a century.
