This is a 1908 picture of the San Antonio Post Office and Federal Courthouse. It was torn down in the late 1930's and a new larger building was built on the same site. This building still functions as a downtown post office, but about 1970 a new Federal Courthouse was constructed in the resurrected U.S. pavilion at the Hemisfair site. Later a new main Post Office was built in the Northeast suburbs.
