I am very new here and struggling to get this together. I have some
Hollinger info, but it is not complete, and I am trying to get all of
the
dates together so that I can post it for you. It will include all of
the
information with regard to the Allie Belle Huff/Frank Hollinger family
of
Carroll Co., MD and Adams Co., PA. The children were Jerre, Catherine,
Bernard, Paul, Arlene, Ethel, Ruth, and Harold. Since I do not know my
way
around in here yet, perhaps this information is already listed???? The
family is large, and maybe someone is already posting this, but, if not,
the
list is extensive with children, grandchildren, etc.

I hope that I will be able to help someone else, as I know that I am
absolutely thrilled to get even the smallest little bit of information.

He had a sister Bertha Hollinger married to a Babylon.

Elizabeth Graybill.
I show a Noah Thomme Hollinger as their son - But, Sonne can tell us much
more!

I have a Noah Hollinger from the York County, PA area. He was born about
1868. His parents were Samuel Hollinger and Mary Kunkel.

Catherine
Stauffer and 2nd on 23 Jun 1793 Barbara Groff. His parents were Daniel
Hollinger and Barbara Nauman.

I tried to email a group of pages that I wanted to post on the HOLLINGER
site, but since I have heard no remarks, I am assuming that it did not go
through. I spent many hours at the Adams Co Historical Society, reviewing
HOLLINGER wills that they have on file.

I have made notes re the dates and family members that should be valuable
information for Hollinger seekers.

I am trying to determine if Philip Hollinger was married to Margaret
Hollinger, the mother of:
                 Noah M.
                 Samuel A.
                 Lizzie (Liza)
                 Anna M.
                 Ellen
                 John
                 Jane

One source does not show all of these children for this couple. This
particular Philip I am questioning was the son of John Valentin Hollinger
who
was the son of Valentin Hollinger. Can anyone help? I will share any and
all info that I have.

could be on there - depending on the ages of these kids. and when Husband
died -

We don't have much info on Philip or Valentine HOLLINGERS and our Adams Co,
PA

I believe in Cenus/Wills/Documents =You Will Find ALL kinds of
SPELLINGS.and many are the Same Families, esp if check the kids or next
census , etc.

THIS Info was recorded by people who could write =

PEOPLE who could write = Wrote by sound = What We Sounded like when we
talked to them and some of Us were kinda foreign tongue And it Probably
SOUNDED like they wrote it =
A combination of Both-

WHERE some of our HOLLINGERS/HULLINGERS/HOLIGERS, Etc, Immigrated From, May
show a difference
and some of Our Older Hollinger researchers can probably Explain Better
than I can-

Hi all!
Need to advise you that the Family Hart data base has some INCORRECT
information posted about some HOLLINGER info that I was researching.

I connected the wrong husband to MARGARET F. HOLLINGER, of Butler Twp. I
had copied her will, which never mentioned her husband's name, but did list
her children. A Philip was also married to a Margaret, and I thought that
they matched, but - they don't! The correct husband for this Margaret, is
CHRISTIAN HOLLINGER, son of CHRISTIAN HOLLINGER, son of DANIEL HOLLINGER,
son
of JOHN DANIEL HOLLINGER, son of RUDOLPH HOLLINGER,son of HANS RUDOLPH
HOLLINGER, son of RUDOLPH RUDI HOLLINGER, son of HEINI HOLLINGER, son of
HEINI HOLLIGER, son of JUNGHANS HOLLIGER, son of HANS HOLLIGER, son of
HENRI
HOLLIGER.

I needed to advise you right away, as I noticed this last night. I
contacted
Family Hart - but they said they will not correct it until MARCH!!!!! I
found this a little upsetting, as I do not want to spread misinformation.
I
did not submit this to them, but I hate to think that between now and then,
people could assume, incorrectly, that they have valid information.
