Message Board Post:
I'm trying to trace my Leger family, in particular Joseph Leger born abt 1841 in Philadelphia USA.
Joseph was an African American who claimed he lived with a family called Hollinger and could read and write. He emigrated to the UK in the 1860's with his wife Anna Kreutzberg.
Have you ever heard of this man in your investigations ?
Many thanks, Lyn
