This site contains a scanned image of the original certificate of pension, or "Revolutionary Claim" for Jesse Hooper of Tennessee. The page was scanned at 300 dpi resolution to give the greatest detail for printouts. The document photocopies to a dark page with extraneous blotches. A wax seal was affixed to the sheet and protected with a bit of thinner paper. The brightness of the image was computer adjusted to increase legibility.
