BIOGRAPHY: Born and raised in Florissant he served in World War II occupation of Germany with the Army Air Force. When he returned home in 1947 he worked at the Army Finance Center. He started his postal career in July, 1949 as the second city delivery carrier. In February, 1965 he became Florissant's first Assistant Superintendant of Mails. Appointed Superintendant of Mails on November 15, 1966 and Assistant Postmaster September 15, 1970. He served as acting Postmaster and retired in April 1982.
Jim dedicated his life to Christ and served many years as Deacon of Salem Baptist Church.
