Gammon, Susan ⁶

  General Notes:

Susan Hamilton married her first husband -- name unknown/ not remembered by my mother. This man had been married previously and had a daughter by that marriage -- Auntie Maddox. Auntie Maddox had two children -- Mildred Maddox Kaufman, called by my family Cousin Mildred, and Frances Maddox Cline, my Aunt Frances, Frances had one child by her first marriage, MimAnn.
Susan (Momma Suzie) married Walter( Poppa Paul), who had two children by his first marriage. Susan brought considerable land, as well as her spinster sister in law, her stepdaughter, and two step grandaughters, to the marriage. Susan and Walter had 5 more children in their marriage. My mother remembers a nosy and boisterous household. ⁶

Susan married Walter Bela Paul, son of William Paterson Paul and Lucy McIntosh.⁶ (Walter Bela Paul was born on 6 Apr 1857 ⁶ and died on 15 Feb 1935 ⁶.)
