Isaac was also known as "Roy." He bred Poland China hogs, and won ribbons at state fairs. After retiring from farming in 1931, he became a seed corn dealer. He had been ssupervisor of Orion Twp eight years and its assessor 18 years, ad had been a member of I.O.O.F. for 60 years.
