Email from Eric Milliron dated 21 Feb 2005:

Dear Jim,

Following is my genealogy (as I currently understand):

1. Johannes Koeppel-Maria Grasel (Alsace, France)

I have discovered, since my last correspondence with you, that I
am actually (I think) descended from Maria
Grasel and not Walpurg Eberhart. The only sources I have are
various computer web sites; the vast majority
of web sites have Johann Michael Koeppel descended from Maria
Grasel, Johannes Koeppel's second wife.

If you have any information to verify this please contact me.

2. Johann Peter Koeppel-Maria Margaretha Schmied (Alsace, France)

This information was also gleaned from various computer
websites; don't know if it's correct.

3. Johann Michael Koeppel-Anna Bentz (Alsace, France-emigrated to
America; lived on the Trans-Allegheny
Frontier)

(first lived in Easton, Pennsylvania (Forks of the Delaware), I
believe, during the French and Indian War,
then moved to the Trans-Allegheny Frontier.

4. Johann Jacob Koeppel-Eleanora Mechlin (Both are buried at the
Feightner Cemetery (Also called Central
Cemetery), near Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania;
they are the great-great-great
grandparents of Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo
across the Atlantic Ocean in 1932).

(born in Alsace, France-emigrated to America with his parents;
lived on the Trans-Allegheny Frontier near
Greensburg, Pennsylvania).

5. Ludwig (Lewis) Koeppel (Kepple)-Maria Margaret Heil

Lived near Greensburg, Pennsylvania about 40 miles southeast of
Pittsburgh)

6. Maria Kepple (Koeppel)-John Milliron (Muehleisen)

(also lived near Greensburg, Pennsylvania; both John and Maria
are buried in Muehleisen (Mill-
iron) Cemetery near Greensburg, Pennsylvania).

7. Daniel Milliron (1) (Muehleisen)-Catherine Cole

(lived in Sewickley Township near Greensburg)

8. Daniel Milliron (2) (Muehleisen)-Martha Ferguson

(lived in Mount Pleasant near Greensburg)

9. Charles Milliron (Muehleisen)-Edith Heffelfinger Meyer

(lived in Mount Pleasant near Greensburg)

10. Charles Ernest Milliron (Muehleisen)-Lillian Cochenour Harvey

(born-Mount Pleasant near Greensburg)

11. Eric Milliron (Muehleisen)-Lois McClain-This is me.

(born-Mount Pleasent, Pennsylvania)

PLEASE NOTE: THIS INFORMATION IS STILL BEING RESEARCHED; HOWEVER,
MOST OF IT
HAS BEEN VERIFIED WITH PRIMARY SOURCE INFORMATION.

Please use my information where appropriate for genealogical
correspondence; perhaps I can correspond with
somebody who has primary source information on the children of
Johannes Koeppel-Maria Grasel which now I
only have secondary and tertiary source material.

Thank you for you help!

Sincerely,

Eric Milliron
