Wright, William Douglas II ¹⁰⁹³

  General Notes:

Bill was a great uncle. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had quite the personality and like his Mother, Cora, loved to debate even when he didn't completely agree with the viewpoint he was debating. Growing up, I remember looking forward to his visits to the house so I could hear my Father and he debate over anything from politics to trucking to how the ribs should be cooked! He loved to coach and watch football. He coached Jaycee Raider Football and Little League Football for more than 20 years. He worked as a Transportation/Trucking Agent. He influenced many young men in Collinsville, IL as a coach and role model. Growing up, I didn't realize the impact he had on many young people. Later, when I was an adult and became a Grade School Principal in Collinsville, it is amazing how many times I have run into people he coached or influenced when they were children. ¹⁰⁹³

William married Opal E. Stealey on 28 Sep 1962 in Sandoval, Illinois.¹⁰⁹³ (Opal E. Stealey was born on 4 Jul 1942 in Salem, Illinois,¹⁰⁹³ died in Aug 2000 ¹⁰⁹³ and was buried on 17 Oct 2001 in Cremated/Ashes buried @ Elmwood Cemetery at the foot of Cora (Bill's Mom) ¹⁰⁹³.)
