Helmholz dtd 21 April 1979 and 8 May 1979 to Mrs. Fred Mullings, Pt 1 Box 295 Winslow, Ark, 72959 in which she extends information given in the Filson Report on origin of Carrico line from Margaret Elizabeth Carrico and Thomas Withington. She quotes records of the Withingtons in St Ferdinand Church in Florissant, MO. Copy of letter in possession of Dan H Devaney. He was a Baptist. Died in 1817 due to wounds he received in 1813 whe fighting Indians with the volunteers on the Merimac River. After the death of James Musick, Sr., Nancy Withington Musick took the three youngest children hom to her father's house and they were raised Catholic. The three oldest children were taken by an uncle David Musick and were raised Baptist.
