!SOURCE: Letter from Marjorie B. Helmholz dtd 21 April 1979 to Mrs. Fred Mullings, Pt 1 Box 295 Winslow, Ark, 72959. After the death of James Musick, Sr., Nancy Withington Musick took the three youngest children home to her father's house and they were raised Catholic. The three oldest children were taken by an uncle David Musick and were raised Baptist. Moved in 1830 to Cole Co MO where he had a large farm. Had twelve children.

William married Maria Jane Martin on 29 Apr 1827 in St. Louis County, Missouri. (Maria Jane Martin was born in 1827 in St. Louis County, Missouri and died on 8 Feb 1899 in Cole Co, MO.)
