!SOURCE: Letter from Marjorie B. Helmholz dtd 21 April 1979 to Mrs. Fred Mullings, Pt 1 Box 295 Winslow, Ark, 72959. Was feeble-minded and never married. After the death of James Musick, Sr., Nancy Withington Musick took th three youngest children home to her father's house and they were raised Catholic. The three oldest children were taken by an uncle David Musick and were raised Baptist.

This could be the Marie James Musick, baptised St Ferdinand's Church, Florissant, MO. 3 May 1812. Godparents were Dominique Froussand, the parish beadle and Elizabeth James.
