Military Veterans
This page will celebrate those family members who have risked
their lives for their country, no matter what country that was.
It will also serve as a memorial to those who paid the ultimate
price. Veterans from both sides of the conflicts are invited to
submit their names to be listed.

This is a photo of an unknown Ibach
cousin. We have the following information from Art Ibach:
I believe my Dad told me this was
an Ibach cousin. (So far all of the Ibach's he said were cousins
have turned out to have been 1st Cousins.) All I remember is that
he told me, this Ibach cousin was about eight years older than he
and he received the picture when he was about 15 years old. I
think he said this Ibach was in the USMC; serving in the
Orient before the Boxer Rebellion. That would place this picture
circa 1896. If he was in fact a Marine in the Orient before the
Boxer Rebellion he may have been attached to US Embassy duty,
either in Peking, Hong Kong or Bangkok, Siam (Thailand). I'm a
little bit perplexed about the "upside down chrevrons".
I don't know when or if the USMC ever sported them. They look
almost "British". Please e-mail Der Webmeister.

various spellings of our name. These records are of

hope this helps some of you with your research as well.
