Joel Molyneux's letters and diaries throughout that war have inspired
his grandson Kermit Molyneux Bird to produce them in book form.
Joel, son of Edward and Rebecca Molyeux was b. 1835, married his
wife Elvira in 1865 and died in 1915. Kermit's mother Winifred M.
(Bird) was the youngest of 6 children born to Joel and Elvira Molyneux
in 1883.

Robert Molyneux 1905-1969. Photograph was taken c. 1908. Jane married
Robert Molyneux at Knowsley Church, Lancashire, on New Year's Eve
1902. The family lived on the Earl of Derby's Estate, Knowsley,
which bordered on to the Earl of Sefton's Croxteth Estate. (Father
